Hadrat?Uthman bin Affan relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Nothing will harm him who reads this dua three times day and night:?Bismillahil ladhi la yaz zuru ma?a ismihi shai un fil ardhi wa la fis saama?I wa huwas sami ul aleem." (Tirmidhi wa Abu Daud).? Hadrat?Abu Huraira relates that the Prophet said, "Whoever reads this dua three times day and night will be protected against the venom of anything that is poisonous:?A?oudhu bi ir ii til lahith taam maati min sharri ma khalaq." (Ibn Habban).? Hadrat?Ibn Umar relates that the Messenger of Allah would never abstain from reciting the following dua day or night:Allahumma inni asalukal aafi ata fid dunya wal akhirati Allahumma inni asalukal afwa wal aafiata fi dini wad dunya ir i ahli wa maali allahummas tur aurati wa aamin raw aati Allahumah fiz ni mim bayni ya dayya wa min khalfi wa ain? ya me ni wa an shimali wa min fawqi wa a?oudhu bi azmatika an ughtala min tahti." (Abu Daud). Hadrat?Abu Huraira relates that the Messenger of Allah used to read this dua in the morning;?As bahna wa asbahal mulku lil lahi wal hamdulillahi la sharika lahu la ilaha illa hu wa ilaihim nushur.? He also relates that the Messenger of Allah a used to read this dua in the evening:?Am sayna wa amsal mulku lil lahi wal hamdulillahi la sharika lahu la ilaha illa hu wa ilaihil ir i." (Ibn Sani). ?Hadrat?Abdullah bin Abbas relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever reads this dua in the morning and evening becomes the inheritor of blessings;?Allahumma inni as bahtu minka fi nai?matu wa aafi?atuw wa satrin fa atamma alaiyya nai?matika wa afiataka wa sataraka fid dunya wal akhira,replacing?as bahtu?with?am saytu?in the evening."? Hadrat?Abdullah bin Ghanam relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever reads this dua in the morning has given thanks for the day, and whoever reads this in the evening has given thanks for the night:??Allahumma ma asbaha bi min nai?matin au bi ahadin min khalqika faminka wahdahka la sharika laka falakal hamdu wa lakash shukru, replacing?ma asbaha?with?ma amsa?for the evening."? Hadrat?Abdullah bin Umar relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "A servant of Allah read a dua,?Ya Rabbi lakal hamdu kama yam baghi li jalali waj hika wa? azeemi sultanik,?and the angels became compelled to record its reward.? Despite knowing what the man had read, Allah asked the angels what he had read, and the angels told Him.? Allah said, "For right now, write it in his Record exactly as he has said it; I will give him his reward when he stands before Me."The Messenger of Allah?s attendant,?Hadrat?Abi Salam relates that he heard the following from the Messenger of Allah , "Allah takes it upon Himself to please the person who reads this dua day and night;?Radhina bil lahi rabbaw wa bil islami dinaw wa bin Muhammadin nabi yaw wa Rasula." (Abu Daud wa Tirmidhi wa Nisai wa Hakim). Ummul Mu?minin Hadrat Juwairiya relates that the Messenger of Allah left her house for?Salat ul Fajr?when she was sitting in her house.? When the Prophet returned for?Salat ul?Chasht, he said, "O Juwairiya, you?re still sitting in the same way as I left you this morning?"?Hadrat?Juwairiya replied, "Yes," to which the Messenger of Allah said, "I have read four sentence structures three times, and if taken together, they will outweigh what you have done since this morning."? Those four are the following;?Subhanal lahi wa bi hamdihi adada khalqihi wa radha nafsihi wa zeenata arshihi wa midada kalimatihi." (Muslim).?Hadrat?Shaddad bin Aus relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "That person will enter Paradise who reads this?duasincerely and was to die that day, and he will enter Paradise who reads this?dua?sincerely in the night and was to die that night:?Allahumma anta rabbi laa ilaha illa anta khalaq tani wa ana abduka wa ana ala ah?dika wa wa?dika masta ta?tu a?oudhu bika min sharri ma sana? tu abu oolaka bin nai?matika alaiyya wa abu oo bi dhambi fagh firli fa inna hu la yagh firudh dhunuba illa anta." (Bukhari).?Hadrat?Abdur Rahman said, "I asked my father?Hadrat?Abu Bakr , 'I hear you reciting this dua ten times morning and evening;Allahumma aafini fi badani allahumma aafini fi sam?I allahumma aafini fi basari allahumma inni a?oudhu bika min aazabil kabri laa ilaha illa anta.??Hadrat?Abu Bakr said, 'I used to hear the Messenger of Allah reciting this and I also want to act upon his sunnah." ?Hadrat?Abu Bakr relates that the Messenger of Allah said that Allah has instructed the nation to read this dua:?La hawla wala quwwata illa billah. Whoever reads this?dua?ten times in the morning, ten times in the evening, and ten times before going to sleep, then he will be protected from the dangers of the night because of his reading before bed; he will be protected from the cunning of?Shaytan?because of his evening reading, and he will be protected from Allah?s anger because of his morning reading." (Dihlmi).Hadrat?Abu Saeed Khudri relates that the Messenger of Allah entered the masjid and saw?Hadrat?Abu Umamah . The Prophet said, "Abu Umamah, what is the matter? I am seeing you in the masjid other than during prayer time."?Hadrat?Abu Umamah said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am in the grip of worries and debt."? The Messenger of Allah said, "Shall I not give you a gift of a prayer for this, that Allah will ease your worries when you say it?"??Hadrat?Abu Umamah said yes, and the Prophet said, "Read this?dua?day and night;?Allahumma inni a?oudhu bika minal hammi wal huzni wa a?oudhu bika minal ajzi wal kasli wa a?oudhu bika minal jubni wal bukhli wa a?oudhu bika min ghalabatidh dayni wa qhalir rijal."?Hadrat?Abu Umamah says that Allah eased all his worries and relieved him of his debt when he read this?dua. (Abu Daud). Hadrat?Ma?adh relates that when the Messenger of Allah did not see him at Juma?a (Friday) Prayer, he came to the house to and inquired, "What is the matter? I didn?t see you today?"?Hadrat?Ma?adh replied, "I have a Jew?s debt upon me and that is why I could not come."? The Messenger of Allah replied, "Shall I not tell you a dua for which Allah will relieve you of your debt if you read it morning and evening, even if it be as large as a mountain?"? and the Messenger of Allah continued, "Ma?adh, read:?Allahumma malikul mulki tu?til mulka man ta sha? u wa tanzi?ul mulka mim manta sha?u wa tu izzu man ta sha?u wa tu dhillu man ta sha?u biyadi kal khair innaka a?la kulli shai in qadeer? tuli jul laila fin nahari wa tulijun nahara fil layli wa tukh rijul hayya minal mayyati wa tukh rijul mayyata minal hayyi wa tarzuqu man ta sha?u bi ghairi hisab Ya Rahman ad dunya wal akhirati wa Rahima huma tu?ti manta sha?u min huma wa tam na?u man ta sha?u irhamni rahmatan tughnini biha ar rahmati man siwaka." (Tabrani).?Hadrat?Abu Darda relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "I will intercede for the person who sends ten?Durood?upon me day and night (ten in the day and ten in the evening); thisDurood?is..(Durood-e-Ibrahim)." (Tabrani wa Abu Daud).?Hadrat?Ata bin Abi Rabah relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "All of a person?s daily tasks will be completed who reads?Surah al YaSin?at the beginning of the day." (Darimi).?Hadrat?Abdullah ibn Masoud relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Famine will never strike a person who reads?Surah al Waqiah?every night."??Hadrat?Abdullah used to advise his daughters to read this every night.?Hadrat?Abu Saeed relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Light (Nur) shines between the two Jummas of a person who reads?Surah al Kahf?on the day of Jumma."? (al-Baihaqi).?Hadrat?Anas relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever sits absorbed in?dhikr?from after?Salat ul Fajr?to sunrise, and then prays two?rakats?of?Ishraq, he will earn the reward of Hajj and Umra."? The Prophet emphasized, "?.of an entire Hajj and Umra." (Tirmidhi).Hadrat?Abu Huraira relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "Allah u descends to the first sky every night, and asks during the final third of the night, 'Is there anyone making?dua?so that I can accept his?dua? Is there anyone asking so that I may give him? Is there anyone desirous of forgiveness so that I may forgive him??"? Hadrat?Jabir bin Mata?am relates that the Messenger of Allah said, "This?dua?will become a seal for the person who reads it at the conclusion of a gathering, and it will become a means of forgiveness for whoever reads it as the conclusion of a useless gathering;?Subhana kalla humma wa bi hamdika ashadu Allah ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik." (Nisai wa Tabrani wa Hakim).
